![]() Some gamers might find the battery backup a little underwhelming, but since the headset fully functions, it makes up to the limited 10-hour battery backup. Logitech has a powerful battery with up to 10 hours of battery backup. We all forget to charge our devices quite often, so there is nothing is more frustrating than devices that do not function while they are charging. The fact that Logitech headset G930 functions while charging through USB cable seals the deal for us. However, they won’t be stable for running or exercising because they are not designed for sports use. They are also good for walking around in. StabilityĪs far as our stability testing is concerned, the Logitech G930 fared well and were tight enough with a good grip for most stable conditions, especially if you are going to be sitting in front of the gaming PC or TV without much movement. If you are picky about quality then these headphones will be mostly fine. The G930 aren’t designed for music listening, we found the sound flat and lacking finesse. If you are a serious music listener and care greatly about the quality of music then these headphones will disappoint you. On the other hand, the music quality isn’t good at all. However, we believe that serious gamers will find voice modulation gimmicky and sub-par. Although not everyone will appreciate the voice modulation options, you have some fun with it by using voice avatars. However, the mic continued to perform great in all games. In popular games like Assassin’s Creed Unity performance left something to be desired. The headset offers clear sound and ok bass for most games that were tested the G930 with, although the performance wasn’t excellent across the board in all the games we test this headset with. One of the best qualities of the G930 in our point of view is its low latency and excellent performance as a gaming headphone. However, if you are in a stationary position for long time periods, then you will not have any stability issues while gaming. Activities such as running or exercising because they will most likely fall off your head after a short period. During our testing, we suspect that the ear cup hinges and the flip-down mic are the part that will most likely be damaged first with repeated use.Īs far as stability is concerned, the headset is suitable activities that do not involve too much moving around. However, the design is slightly bulky, although it is made primarily out of plastic which also gives it a cheap look and feel. Its sturdy yet flexible metal frame supported headband, and densely padded durable yet comfortable ear cups allow it to withstand falls and bumps. When compared to similar headsets within the same price range, namely G533 and G433, the Logitech G930 is significantly better. It has USB and MicroUSB cables, which allows you to plug the transmitter in the hub’s port to charge the headset or use it was a wired headset. In keeping with the black theme, the hub is also black and circular with the USB port in the center top. The transmitter of the Logitech G930 is a black slim and rectangular USB device, which can be plugged into USB port including the port of the headset’s hub that comes with the G930. It has a light indicator that turns red when the mic is on mute. The flip-down microphone pivots up and down and is placed on the left ear cup. The MicroUSB charging port is also located on the underside of the left ear cup. However, the surround sound switch and power switch are too close to each other, so the chances of accidentally hitting the wrong button are high in this case. We like the distinct volume wheel instead of volume buttons because it reduces the chance of accidentally pushing the wrong button instead. The controls – power button, volume wheel, three customizable buttons, Mic Mute button and the surround sound switch – are located behind the left ear cup. The Logitech G930 headset is predominantly black with few red accents in the circumaural cups the design and padding of the cups make them comfortable.
